Okay, seriously, that water not working thing? Fucking blows. I'm thisclose to going door-to-door on the other floors until I find somebody who'll let me use their shower.

I mean, what the fuck?

It's kind of amusing, though. Everything this town throws at people and THIS is what I get pissed off over? Either my priorities are out of whack or it just goes to show you how used to this place I've gotten. Or both.

Needless to say, the lack of water to shower with meant that the job hunt got put off another day. Because I'm pretty sure walking in vaguely smelly and with stringy hair wouldn't have done anything to endear me to prospective employees. (And if it would have, they probably wouldn't have been people I wanted to work for anyway.) I need to get on it as soon as the water's working again, though, because at the moment Jimmy's the only one in the apartment who has a job and that's just twelve kinds of not cool. He's the irresponsible one, damn it. Why'd he have to go and grow up?
